Finally, something -non- sonic!

Though this is a gift art and as long as the person is happy, thats all that matters. Still, its my first time drawing a dog so please give me CONSTRUCTIVE crit please! Thanks! <3

I've been working on this on the side with a commission.

This is a gift for my Mum's friend, for her friend's daughter in work. See, her daughter works in the RSPCA and, though she had a dog herself which is blind. She always worked with Sasha and had her over at her own home to take care of. But, sadly since she already has a dog, she has to give Sasha up and re-home her. Obviously she wasn't happy because she loved Sasha and was upset.

So my mum, told her friend to tell her daughter of me. As she wants something to remember Sasha by, so mum asked me with a photograph to draw Sasha for her friend's daughter. Which I happily took and did my best.

And this is the result. For my first time drawing a dog, I am quite happy with it. As always I tried my best and you can probably see the difference if you look at the sketch here:

I didn't put my icon on this, Instead I put my name. This has to be printed out for my mum's friends daughter <3

This is really amazing Shelly, for someone who's never done dogs before you pulled it off so well. <3 You got the dog anatomy spot on, and i like the way you done the two different shades of fur and fur effects. Shes so prettyyy, i hope you do more of these sometime hun! :heart:~ <33

I think this is truly thoughtful and cute of you to make something you haven't really made before for your mom's friend! I'm always happy to see your art and everytime I see one, I always have to say to myself, "It definetly fits Shelly's style!"
